Val D’Orcia

While in Tuscany, we were taken to an old villa atop what they call a poggio. It started as a beautiful day and we were overlooking the valley of the River Orcia, though you couldn't see it from where I painted. I wanted to paint a poggio and there was a beautiful view of one in the distance.
